Grand Mound, IA - NewFields Ag is proud to announce the addition of Jason Jordal as a Business Development Manager, serving the Northeast Region. Jason brings a wealth of experience in agriculture and business leadership, combined with deep roots in farming, that align perfectly with NewFields Ag’s mission of helping farmers drive profitability and success through proven agronomic solutions.

Rooted in Agriculture, Focused on Farmer Success

Jason grew up on a row crop farm in northern Illinois, where his passion for agriculture was first planted. Today, he farms the very ground his father grew up on, raising his family as the fifth generation to steward that land.

After graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in Agricultural Business, Jason’s early career took him into the beverage industry. Over 12 years, he worked his way from sales representative to managing a team of wholesale distributors. But his passion for agriculture never left, and he returned to the industry where it all started—bringing his sales leadership and problem-solving mindset with him.

For the past 15 years, Jason has worked directly with farmers and ag professionals across the Midwest. His experience includes over a decade in seed territory management, along with recruiting, training, and leadership roles. Most recently, he spent nearly two years managing a territory for a biological nitrogen company, deepening his knowledge of innovative, sustainable ag solutions.

Jason’s focus at NewFields Ag will be supporting growers and resellers across the Northeast Region, helping them unlock ROI potential with the full lineup of NewFields Ag products. From biologicals to crop nutrition and farm solutions, Jason is passionate about helping farmers improve the health of their crops—and their bottom line.

Family, Community, and the Farm Life

Jason lives on the family farm in Lee, Illinois, with his wife, Kim, and their two daughters. Kelsie recently finished her first year as an agriculture teacher and FFA advisor, while Lauren is entering her senior year at Illinois State University, pursuing a master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics.

When he’s not in the field supporting farmers, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, snowmobiling, and, for the first time in years, discovering what summer feels like without the travel softball circuit.

A believer in lifelong learning and perseverance, Jason lives by one of his favorite quotes from Nelson Mandela:
“I never lose. I win or I learn.”
